Lane Events Center A Spacious Showcase for Recycled Goods, Games and Fashion

Like a butterfly venturing from its chrysalis, Metamorphose 2019 emerged from creatively productive minds to fill the Lane Events Center of objects of wonder, challenge and mercy on the environment. A full day of displays and activities capped by a glitzy show of upcycled fashion, Metamorphose 2019 highlighted recycled materials from its title sponsors and partners – a giant mandala comprised of PakTech recycled handles, and from Wells Fargo, multi-colored bank bags begging for new lives via the magic of upcycling.

Throughout the afternoon visitors shopped a vendor row, admiring the latest unlikely components for jewelry and home décor, and cast votes for their favorite submissions from St. Vincent de Paul’s collaborating agencies, BRING and its Product Design Challenge, and MECCA’s Object Afterlife.
