Eugene Service Station
The Eugene Service Station has a commercial kitchen and expanded day room thanks to the generous support of the City of Eugene and many others. This provides 75% more space for guests and streamlines meal preparation.
The Eugene Service Station (ESS) provides homeless adults with a warm and welcoming place where they can meet their basic needs (food, day shelter, clothing, laundry, showers, supplies) and get assistance stabilizing their personal crises. The ESS has telephones, message services, computer access, job and housing referrals. In 2013 the Station served 6,432 adults.
ESS staff and volunteers are available for those who wish to have guidance and mentorship in becoming economically self-sufficient. The ESS has telephones, message services, computer access, job referral and housing assistance to help those seeking to get back on their feet. In partnership with Pro-Bone-O, we offer a free pet clinic twice a month.
The ESS is open 8-5 7 days a week.
We thank the following for their ongoing financial support of the Eugene Service Station: Lane County & the Human Services Commission, City of Eugene, City of Springfield |
