Support children and families this Spring
First Place Annex is a low barrier shelter and wraparound case management program for families experiencing homelessness in Lane County. It includes: The Night Shelter, First Place Family Center, and First Place Kids.
Support First Place Kids with a donation to help build a new playground at the Annex! Infants confined to living in cars and car seats experience delays in motor skills and development. Children who don’t have opportunities to play miss out on exercise, fresh air, and building social skills.
With your help, unhoused children will be provide with safe, consistent opportunities to exercise, play, and explore outdoors that they may not otherwise have. Your support will help grow in pre-literacy skills, ability focus, and emotional regulation in children.

Our Impact
For 70 years, St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County’s social service programs have provided supportive resources for individuals, children, and families who live in poverty and/or homelessness, serving 35,000 people annually. SVdP operates more than 1,600 units of affordable housing and two-day-access shelters for families and individuals experiencing homelessness, offers low-barrier employment, and administers many programs that foster long-term stability. Waste-based businesses generate revenue for social services and divert millions of pounds of reusable materials from landfills annually.
