Dusk to Dawn

The Dusk to Dawn program invites homeless individuals to sleep safely overnight in heated, military-style tents. As funded for 2020-21, the program has capacity for 125 to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. Individuals can remain in the program as long as they show up and follow the rules.

The program includes dinner, served at the Eugene Service Station after regular hours, and a walk of five minutes or so to the Dusk to Dawn site. The site is closed from 10am-1pm for cleaning. Case managers are available at the Eugene Service Station to help program participants take the steps necessary to get into stable housing.

Each Dusk to Dawn tent holds 8 to 10 individuals and sleeping cots. When a bed becomes available, it is offered to the next person on the waitlist. Anyone wanting to get on the waitlist should visit the Eugene Service Station in person at 450 Hwy 99N during business hours. Hours are: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily EXCEPT closed 12:45-2p.m. every day and noon-2 p.m. on Wednesdays.
