The Myrtlewood is a 4-story building consisting of 35 one-bedroom units located in Springfield, OR. The units are affordable for households earning 50% or less of area median income. Four units are targets for developmentally disabled individuals who are clients of Mainstream Housing and four units are for households who have either serious mental illness (SMI), intellectual disability (ID), or developmental disability (DD). The project meets Earth Advantage Certification.
The Myrtlewood features a community room, onsite laundry, security, and secure ground-level storage. It has an outdoor patio and a resident onsite manager.
The Myrtlewood also provides appropriate and enriching services for its residents. These include: services to promote health and wellness, services that promote self-sufficiency, services to build residential community; and services that support good tenancy.
