The Ash Meadows development includes permanent rental duplexes and single-family homes. There are 18 units of rental housing and 13 single-family homes, all two and three bedroom units. These units are available for persons at or below 50 and 60 percent of area median income. The 6-acre site also includes a new public road and two acres of restored wetlands with on-site storm water retention. The rental units incorporate the following green building techniques: radiant floor heating, on-demand water heaters, recycled cotton insulation, and recycled decorative glass. All units have washers and dryers. Community amenities include a basketball court, BBQ, and playground. The project also includes a cooperative effort with two other non-profits for the lease-to-own portion of the development.
