Mission Statement

St. Vincent de Paul Resident Services acts as a liaison between Property Management, tenants, and the community. Resident Services Coordinators seek to aid all parties in preventing evictions, promoting lease compliance, and defusing tenant struggles within the home and among neighbors.

Resident Services for SVdP’s Affordable Housing

Our Resident Services Program provides built-in support for tenants in St. Vincent de Paul’s affordable housing. We focus on the opportunity that stability provides and assist families in gaining skills, setting goals and building community. Helping tenants maintain housing and social stability so their households can flourish is the core of the Resident Services Program. 

What do Resident Services Include?

Many events and workshops are offered to tenants to learn new skills, foster a sense of community, and combat isolation. From daily one-on-one problem solving to monthly community events, there is something for every resident. Other services include:

  • Financial literacy education
  • Community gardening
  • Tenant libraries
  • Food assistance
  • Kids clubs
  • Community events, including potlucks, bingo, arts & crafts
  • Clothes closets
  • Inspection assistance
  • One-on-one household and individual support
  • Crisis response
  • Housekeeping education

How to Support Resident Services

Donations from the community sure do help! We suggest items associated with personal hygiene, household cleaning, home, and office. Canned food is welcome. Monetary donations help, too!
