2020 Event Update
For many years, St. Vincent de Paul has enjoyed hosting a variety of fundraising events attended by our wonderful community members—all to raise funds for crucial, life-stabilizing services. Due to public health concerns as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our 2020 events are currently canceled to ensure the safety and health of our community and our supporters. From our wonderful Paella Feast to our Moment in Time gala, we will surely miss celebrating the good work of Saint Vincent de Paul with you in person.
However, we do look forward to continuing to engage with you in creative ways to support Youth and Family Services and Resident Services in the coming months. Keep an eye out for updates about our virtual event this November!
We love interacting with our generous community as we work together to address the needs of most vulnerable neighbors and we are so grateful for your continued support.

Month | Event | Beneficiary |
Starting August 1 | Backpacks for Back-to-School | Gathering new backpacks and school supplies, and donations toward the same, to be given to all families who ask. Event runs all month and culminates in distribution day and many smiles. |
October-December | Holiday Joy | Assisting families in SVdP housing that request it, by matching them with sponsoring individuals, groups, faith communities and businesses, wrapping up, so to speak, in mid-December. |
November 26, 2020 | Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving Morning | A proud partnership with FOOD for Lane County, and a Thanksgiving tradition for Willamette Valley walkers, runners and pets. |
November-December | Turkey Drive | Bring on the frozen hams, turkeys and nonperishable holiday foods for distribution to households in need. Purchase a turkey decal or round up your purchase when you shop at St. Vinnie's. |
