On Sept. 23, SVdP began accepting donations at its first attended trailer donation site on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene.

All UO students, faculty, and campus community members are invited to donate their good, saleable items at the St. Vinnie's trailer, located at the old Joe Romania Chevrolet lot, 2020 Franklin Blvd. near Matthew Knight Arena. The trailer is positioned at the south side of the parking lot, with access from both Walnut Street and East 15th Avenue, and staffed from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays.

Donations from the community generate revenue, from resale and recycling, that supports St. Vincent de Paul's nonprofit efforts to alleviate poverty and homelessness locally. Everyone who donates is offered a tax receipt and a 20-percent off coupon good on one regularly priced item at any St. Vinnie's store.
