Lane County Against Trafficking

LCAT

Lane County Against Trafficking (LCAT) is a group of community members committed
to spreading awareness and education as well as supporting survivors. It is a part of
St. Vincent de Paul Lane County’s Social Service Office.

Who We Are

Lane County Against Trafficking LCAT is a volunteer coalition of community members, survivors, and staff supported by St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County’s Lindholm Social Service Office. Together we work to support victims escaping human trafficking to get back on their feet, bring awareness to the community of the dangers human trafficking poses, and advocate for state action to combat the growing industry of sex-trafficking in our region.

Victims Speak Out

“He provided food and a place to stay. He manipulated me into thinking I owed him.”

“Until I saw a documentary on sex trafficking I had no idea I had been a victim.”

“I was only 13 when it all started. I was sold, I was raped, I was controlled.”

“I would rather be trafficked again than to know an innocent girl was going through what I had to. I’ve been there before; I know I can survive.”
