Ongoing assistance for SVdP tenants comes in many forms, including crisis response, kids' club activities and other mothly events, free libraries and clothing closets at properties, adult education, food assistance programs, and more.

All of this support is provided by SVdP's dedicated Resident Services staff. Of course, their work is made possible by the community's support through fundraisers like the Bill Barr Memorial Golf Classic — and through monetary and in-kind donations to Resident Services. History of the Bill Barr Golf Classic

Bill Barr, former banker and employee of SVdP Property Management, organized a golf tournament for 16 consecutive years to ensure funding for the Resident Services program. In his honor, friends, business representatives, community members and fellow golfers "raised the Barr" to help, sponsor, donate and golf in the aptly named Bill Barr Memorial Golf Classic. This year will be the 21st year of this invaluable fundraiser.
