Atkinson Food Room
No child should go to bed hungry. St. Vincent de Paul’s Atkinson Food Room is there to help. Those in need of food select their own items, choosing what best suits the needs of their family. This approach decreases wasted food and is more like shopping in a supermarket, helping people maintain their dignity.
In 2009, more than 11,500 food boxes and 2,500 holiday food boxes were provided to people and families in need.
