Egan Volunteers Celebrate Another Winter Well Done
A couple dozen volunteers turned out April 27 to share a potluck meal and the satisfaction of having made a significant difference this past winter for 672 people – the 672 who took shelter at the Egan Warming Centers on one or more nights in late December and January. All told Egan volunteers provided 2,470 beds and 4,940 meals on nights when the temperatures were expected to drop below 30 degrees.
