Technologies firm celebrates community, bikes, LIFE

Giveaway has special meaning for Randy Ritter.

After three days of sometimes arduous volunteer work, a couple dozen employees of Life Technologies stuck around on a Friday for the grand finale: Presentation of brand new bicycles and company tee shirts to nearly a dozen lucky kids from St. Vinnie’s affordable housing.

Judging by his broad grin, Life Technologies' Randy Ritter had gotten the best gift of all.
